Bisadyl treats constipation. It is a laxative and is used to stimulate bowel movements and relieve constipation. Doctors also use the drug to empty the bowels before surgical procedures, endoscopies, X-rays, colonoscopies, and other intestinal medical procedures.
It is preferable to take it at night before bed so that its effect begins in the morning. However, it should be avoided with milk or antacids because this may reduce its effectiveness.
